The ABCs with Ace and Christi curriculum emphasizes foundational skills in reading and language development. Throughout the programme, students will engage in reading preparation lessons, scientific units, language skills, and mathematical concepts such as counting up to 100. Additionally, students will learn number and shape recognition, math preparation skills, phonic sounds, and letter recognition. By spring, students will learn how to blend sounds and begin reading one and two vowel words. Interactive lessons and activities will help students build their phonics, comprehension, and vocabulary skills, ensuring a strong foundation in literacy.

Art and writing activities, gym time, and breaks are also included to promote physical development.

In the Romanian school system, this level is considered as Level 1.

The Foundation Phase uses the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum, which aims to establish a strong educational foundation. This programme focuses on personalized learning, character development, and academic excellence.

The A.C.E. curriculum promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills within a structured and nurturing environment. The goal is to cultivate a supportive atmosphere where young learners can excel academically and personally, laying the groundwork for future success.

In the Intermediate Phase, we use the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum to provide students with a comprehensive education. This individualised learning program allows students to progress at their own pace while emphasising academic excellence, character development, and critical thinking skills.

Our goal is to help students develop a strong understanding of their community and the world, as well as form their own unique identity, opinions, and vision. Our dedicated educators offer personalised support in core subjects, including Mathematics, English, Literature, Science, and Social Studies, with biblical principles integrated into everyday learning.

We also strive to create a nurturing and challenging environment that prepares students for future academic success and lifelong learning.

The senior and Further Education Training (FET) phase is important for students as they transition into adulthood. During this phase, students work towards obtaining the International Certificate of Christian Education (ICCE).

The ICCE Programme is based on the Accelerated Christian Education (A.C.E) curriculum, which has been used in Christian schools and homeschooling for the past 40 years. The ICCE program aims to prepare students effectively for higher education and the workplace. Additionally, we provide students with support for career development tools, guidance, and advice.

The ICCE qualification has various exit levels, including General (Level 8-9), Intermediate (Level 10), Advanced (Level 11), and Advanced Higher (Level 12). Level 8 is considered the first year of high school. Students must complete a level entirely and obtain a certificate before progressing to the next level.

Graduates with an ICCE qualification can gain admission to colleges and universities in many countries worldwide. However, in some places, such as Romania, the certificate alone may not be sufficient. Therefore, graduates also prepare for the Graduate Equivalency Degree (GED) test and the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) to gain access to Romanian universities.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When do the students have holidays?

You are welcome to click on the link to download our yearly calendar for this year.

What do I do if, after a few years, my child has to go back to public school for whatever reason?

We had a few children at various levels who had to go back to public school, and there was never a problem. In some cases, children were accepted to public school by showing their transcript without further testing, and in other cases, children were tested beforehand.

Can my child enrol later on in the year?

Because of individual learning, a child can join at any time of the year. However, only for the children of Kindergarten and ABC age, it might mean they will not be ready to pass the test at the end of the school year, and they might have to continue the following year in the same group.

My child has some learning and/or behavioural problems. Is he/she still welcome?

Out of experience, we have seen that the structure of this programme, offering individualized learning and smaller classrooms, are beneficial for children struggling with some extra challenges. We would be honoured to think and discuss with the parent and see what the best learning environment could be for the child.

We are non-Christians. Can my child still join this Educational Centre?

Every child is welcome in our Educational Centre. However, we expect the child and parent to respect our biblical norms and values and for the child to participate in all daily activities.

Will my child be able to get into Romanian colleges or universities with this diploma?

Many Romanian colleges and universities accept foreign high school diplomas and student testing. Besides the choices within Romania, there are many colleges and universities around the world that accept this diploma.

What does it cost for my child to come to this Educational Centre?

Since we are a private Educational Centre, we do not get funded by the government. So parents in the school carry the cost for their child's schooling, including staff salaries, bills, taxes, maintenance, school supplies, etc. For specific costs, check out our Admissions page.

Will my child do the Baccalaureate exam after completing high school?

No, students will not do the Romanian Baccalaureate exam. Instead, we prepare students for the GED and SAT testing. These tests are internationally recognized and show that the student is ready for college and university.

Testimonials

WHAT STUDENTS ARE SAYING

"I was in public school for 4 years, and then I moved to Adamant International. When I first started, I was a little scared. This was a new Centre, with new teachers, new rules, and a new curriculum. It was an entirely different environment. The curriculum is really nice because we get to work at our own pace. In public schools, we work 4 hours a day.  At Adamant, we have 4 hours of work, along with afternoon activities. Overall, I am pleased to be part of this Educational Centre."

"In these eight years of attending A.C.E schooling, I have had absolutely no regrets of the decision to transfer myself from public school. This Educational Centre helped me develop my character which is as important to me as educational development and being able to learn at my own pace is my favourite part of the curriculum. I am certain that the lessons learnt here will benefit me greatly in the future."

"This is my second full year at Adamant International. I have been homeschooled before and for me, the biggest problem was managing to reach my goals. This Educational Centre helped me understand the value of time and taught me discipline. I love seeing the process of becoming productive and organised. Of course, the teachers are the ones that guided us through this challenge, and I’m grateful for it."
